Last Night, I had the chance to watch one of TED TALKS videos.
My hand had this instinct and selected a video by ARVIND GUPTA.
He is Indian.
He is a toy inventor.
He is an engineer.
He knows how to convert simple things to what i call "happy toys".
For me, he is not just a toy inventor, an engineer, and a person who makes "happy toys"... Arvind Gupta is an inspiration. He opened my eyes and allowed me to appreciate simple things. He taught me to adore the engineers and those people who truly love their work and later flourishes and produce GREAT THINGS.
His toys will remind us of our childhood.
His toys will take us back to the past and reminisce how one child can produce "happy toys" out of newspapers, straws, rubber bands, etc.
His toys wanted to tell us how one can be creative.
His toys will tell us that you don't need to buy new things to produce something special.
His toys will tell us that even without a dime, one can be happy and one can share that happiness. All it takes is a little imagination.
His toys reminds me of how I play with sticks before and how can I produce sounds from straws and metal beer caps (tansan). Nostalgic.
Let us meet him.
He's lolo looking.
But he has and will continue to touch lives.
Please have the time to watch him at TED.
This won't take long.
It's all worth it.
Arvind Gupta showed me that one can still find real HAPPINESS even in simple things.
Ponder.
Learn to appreciate simple things.
And be amazed.
